    Shaan Akbar is the founder of AV Labs, a strategy-driven creative agency representing & managing talent, producers, content creators, "game gods" and formats while distributing content across multiple platforms & venues. In addition, AVL combines advertising, authentic storytelling, distribution, and data to collaborate with brands and creators.

    Prior, Akbar was with Warner Bros Discovery for over 15 years executive producing, developing, and marketing numerous hits & groundbreaking unscripted series across high profile networks such as Discovery Channel, TLC, Motor Trend, Velocity, Science Channel, and Discovery Health. Notably, he co-founded and led development and production for Velocity at Discovery Inc., steering it to become the fastest-growing men’s network, creating an automotive media boom. He then led content development, production and strategy efforts rebranding Velocity to the Motor Trend network becoming the most valuable automotive media brand in the world for Warner Bros Discovery and helped drive a monthly audience of 26 million across web, TV and print, and 110 million social followers, culminating in 1.3 billion monthly impressions across all platforms.

    Akbar's development and production on series led to several Emmy and Telly wins & nominations for Warner Bros Discovery. He is a member of the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences.
